11. NIA: The Questions of Men
featuring Ebony Fay
All lyrics written by Sekou (tha misfit)
Sample of lyrics:
VERSE I:
Maybe this year my confusion becomes harmony,
Maybe this year I'll know where to go and what to be,
Maybe this year I'll understand what lies ahead of me,
Maybe with Nia I'll fulfill my ancestors legacy;
Until then I just keep wandering within;
CHORUS:
They just survive, they fall in love and make war,
They call it being alive, but they don't know what it's for;
They just keep growing without roots,
Seems like we're knowing without truth;

7. This I Know
featuring Jasmine Lee, Angela Maye and Gina Evans
All lyrics written by Leonard Plick & Sekou (tha misfit)
Sample of lyrics:
VERSE I (Part 1):
In the course of my life, traveled with these chains in my heart,
Never thought I'd make it this far;
It feels like so far to go, beyond these tears that fall from my eyes,
It's hard to see the love that I know;
(Part 2):
But I heard faith can move mountains,
Even though at times this climb may seem a little too long;
It's a ways down from where we started,
And we can't lose heart and turn back, we've got so much do;
(There's so much I never knew)
Somehow we'll make it through;
CHORUS:
I know we'll be fine, I know we'll live and laugh this time,
Don't ask me how I know, I just know,
With all that we say, and with all that we do,
We're going to make it through - This much I know.

2. UMOJA: Days of Smiles
featuring Dax
All lyrics written by Dax Brooks and Sekou (tha misfit)
Sample of lyrics:
CHORUS:
Days of smiles, for everyone that provides guidance,
Unity and love - Let us all be;
To the skies I've gone, in heaven's clouds I'm born,
Umoja begins elation, bind us all through God's creation;
VERSE I:
Ever looked in the eyes of a child?
Held by the hands of an elder man;
Their soulmates for life, soulmates for life,
Given time we'll make sun shine, spiritually you and me;

13. KUUMBA: Who Am I?
featuring Sekou (tha misfit)
All words written by Sekou Andrews
Sample of lyrics:
Who am I?
I am the off spring of mortality and omnipotence.
I am the son of adrenaline, the daughter of obsession.
I am full color, three-dimensional, glow-in-the-dark, zoom-lensed, panoramic
perception.
Like the eyes of the new born who experiences the most meager of stimuli with
wonder, I stare into the space that others call absence, and I see presence;
I stare at spectrums that others call color, and I see emotion; I listen to
sounds that others label as silence, and I hear coherence; I watch movements
which others deem random, and I see rhythm; I move in ways which others view
as sporadic, and I communicate.
Who am I?
I am your sixth sense.
I make the deaf hear rhythm, the mute sing melodies, and the blind see blue.
To see I portray, to feel I play, to speak I sway.
I am the color of darkness, the brilliance of light,
The choreographer of clouds, the conductor of night.
Who am I?
I am that, when they utter "I wish I could do that".
I am that, when they claim "I'm glad I don't live like that."
I am the talent you envy and the lifestyle you suppress;
I am the naked - ness you express, when you let your mind undress.
I am vivid color in the absence of light,
I am the rainbow at night.
Only the unbounded few can see me, but those who can;
Share the frustration of witnessing beauty that most don't understand.
Do you feel me?
I am the answer, "YES!"
Who am I?
I am the dance that you do when you think no one else is looking but me,
I am the melody stuck to your lips that you hum for weeks after hearing me.
I am the tear from the emotion from the image from the poem from me.
I am the thousand words that leave you with none.

16. Happy Kwanzaa (the Anthem)
featuring Angela Maye
All lyrics written by Sekou (tha misfit)
Sample of lyrics:
CHORUS:
Have a Happy Kwanzaa brother,
Have a Happy Kwanzaa sister,
I will meet you right back here at the end of this year (Harambee!),
But until then just keep on building, teaching our children;
VERSE I:
Here's a story about a people that could not succeed, Habari-Gani? ("Umoja!")
They fought and they fought but they remained lost till they found unity, Habari-Gani?
("Umoja!")
Here's a story, about a little girl ashamed to look at herself, Habari-Gani?
("Kujichagulia!")
She had her beauty disguised by self image lies, designed by someone else,
Habari-Gani? ("Kujichagulia!")
I know a man, scared to lend a hand,
To teach his brother what he knows, and feed his neighbor like his clan;
So I will teach him that a person can't go as far as a people can, Habari-Gani?
("Ujima")
CHORUS (repeat twice)
